We recently announced the winners of the 2017 Stratasys Extreme Redesign Challenge.
Some of the winning designs, all uploaded to the GrabCAD Community Library, are pretty amazing and well worth checking out:
For the category of Engineering – Secondary Education, Grayson Galisky, a student at Los Alamitos High School in Los Alamitos, CA, took first place for his Biomimetic Robotic Prosthetic Hand.
Second place went to Connor Meehan, of Saline High School, Ann Arbor, MI, for a Bi-Directional Ratchet design.
In the category of Engineering – Post-Secondary Education, Thomas Salverson, a student at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, AL, took first place for his Arm Cast design.
Matthew Wong-Chun-Sen and Luis Carvalheiro, students at Ryerson University, Mississauga/Toronto, Ontario, Canada, took second place for their Fender Lock design.
In the category of Art, Architecture, and Design, Daniel Fahy, of the University of Oxford, Oxford, UK, took first place with his Intricate Flower Centerpiece.
Sergey Kuznetsov, St. Petersburg, Russian Federation, took second place for this Armenian Cross Stone design.
The NCATC Winner was Jacob Haynes, Danville Community College, Virginia, for his Universal Tablet Holder for Phantom Drone design.
