There are so many new design Challenges for you to follow! You can create a robot gripper arm and try out Autodesk Sim 360. You can test your rendering skills and get a spot on the GrabCAD homepage. And, you can design a functional product to be made on an EOS machine, which is especially handy if you find manufacturing methods either too expensive or time consuming.
GrabCAD Great Rendering Challenge
Our members are the best engineers and designers out there. We have seen some breathtaking renderings and think there is no one better to show what GrabCAD represents! Participants submit renderings to win a chance to get featured on GrabCAD and claim a Star Engineer badge. Keep things purely mechanical and engineering focused. We want serious, hardcore engineering models that have moving parts. Include three versions of your work: wireframe, non-photo realistic, and photo realistic.
There will be a winner for each category and one GrabCADr will win for showing expertise in all three. Read more!

EOS and TCT Show Quick-fire Product Development Challenge
EOS and TCT Show + Personalize challenge you to design a functional product to be made on an EOS machine. If you have a product you'd like to build for your company but using various manufacturing methods are either too expensive or time consuming then now here's your chance. The top 10 innovative and cost effective product ideas will be selected by a panel of judges. TCT will also show the top 10 designs on its booths at international trade shows and events throughout the year.
Participants get the chance to win PR and advertising support, including studio time from TCT Magazine designers and time from the editorial team to help the winner promote the final product. The winner is welcome back to the show in 2014 to show their products and tell their story. 10 hours each of design and editorial time would be included. EOS will sponsor guidance to convert the design from “concept to production” which includes a full Formiga P110 build of parts. That's a lot of power behind your product idea. Read more!
