Hardware enthusiasts should register for the Open Compute Project Hackathon III. It takes place January 28-29, 2014 at the upcoming Open Compute Summit in San Jose, California.
Do you have a great idea for innovating data center technologies? The OCP is looking to give out over 10K in prize money to winners of this hackathon. You might remember our trip to the last Open Compute Summit in 2013. It was full of engineers and hackers ready to change the way hardware is created. When you register for the hack you also get access to the entire OCP summit, and all the amazing speakers and it brings. The summit and the hack are both being held at the San Jose Convention Center. Seating is limited to 200 people - so signup now! Everyone who registers and participates in OCP Hackathon III gets a special OCP Hackathon t-shirt.
Once you register for the hack, please stay for all the fun and action (8-12 hours over the course of the two day summit.) Their message to you to start 2014? "Keep calm and hack on!" Go to the 2014 Open Compute Hackathon registration page for more information on the hack setup, topics and provided supplies.
