Our users are super important to us at GrabCAD. But how do we know what features to build? How do we make sure that our community is healthy and that Workbench is helping engineers collaborate, edit and share online 3D models most efficiently?
“Feedback” and “I wish this page...”
As a member of GrabCAD, it is hard to miss the “I wish this page” button at the bottom, right corner every page. With almost 725,000 members in our community, you can imagine that we get 30 - 40 of these wishes everyday.
Similarly, Workbench projects have a “Feedback” button that Workbench users can use to give their input. Like the “I wish this page...” button, feedback is sent directly to the entire GrabCAD team. If we find anything alarming or an issue is raised by multiple members, we make sure to address the issue right away. The feedback we receive is also useful for figuring out what new feature to build next. We take into account the number of requests for new features to make sure we're providing something our users want.

The power of community
A fantastic part of the community is how excited our members are about GrabCAD. The passion of the community leads to a lot of interaction between the GrabCAD team and community members through social media, like Facebook and Twitter, and private messages sent on the site. These conversations allow for two way communication: we can really understand what features and functionality you want while using GrabCAD.
As we say here in GrabCAD, engineering is a team sport - your feedback helps us build products to help you do your work better.
