When we launched GrabCAD we weren't quite sure what kind of models our users will start to upload. We were expecting to see a healthy mix of stuff with main focus on mechanical design. Interestingly enough some small niche topics are emerging that deserve some attention. One of them is still a small but growing weapons and weapons parts 3D models selection.
Weirdly enough the biggest collection of weapon's and related models comes from Reimo Soosaar from Estonia. I say "weirdly" because guns are not a big part of everyday life here, unlike in some other regions of the world. So, where are all the gunsmiths from the USA? Designing and building guns has really long traditions there and in some states guns are as much a part of the local culture as food or music.
