What are the changes and why’d we make them?
Mikk: We haven’t made any radical changes, but we’ve downsized the main navigation on the top of each page and we’ve eliminated the light blue navigation buttons (and the bar which held them). Our reasons for the change are simple: We’ve added so many features that the navigation needed to be upgraded to match the features. We want to keep GrabCAD as simple and intuitive as possible for our engineers and that means minimizing the general navigation! We want to give more space for our amazing content while maintaining the usability of the top buttons.
What’s the ultimate vision here?
Mikk: We want to support our engineers, not hinder them in any way. We’re working hard to create a seamless experience when logging onto GrabCAD. As we add more features, we strive to keep our site as simple and logical to use as possible. It’s an iterative process, and we’re hard at work iterating!
Why no more snow on the GrabCAD logo?!?
Mikk: The holidays are over! Look forward to other cool logos in the future.
