So look over these challenges, sit back and let your thoughts drift for a second - the winning solution is out there!
MakerBot Replicator 2 Desktop 3D Printer Challenge - 1 Day Left
It's 2040. The future is radically different there as it is now - how are we getting around? By air, by ground, water, space, inter-dimensions? What can you think of, design and then 3D Print? We've received more than 100 entries - make one of your own before the deadline comes tomorrow and win a MakerBot Rep 2!
500 Group 2nd Supercar 3D Dash Challenge - 4 Days Left
The Dashboard is a massively underrated aspect of car design. Display numbers and icons with the right mixture of layout, colour, style and balance is key to the perfect driving experience. And if you're trying to transmit information between a brand-new supercar and its seasoned driver travelling at 200 kph, you know you have to do it right. If you think this is a real challenge - you have four days to make it happen. Go for it!
Chain wear indicator - 6 Days Left
This challenge requires the inventor in every one of us to stand and deliver. The usual practice is to use callipers to measure wear on chain hoists - what else could work. We've seen a smattering of entries - many of them ingenious. What can you think of? Konecranes is offering $6,000 in prizes.
All-Terrain Outdoor Equipment Cart - 7 Days Left
Yet again, inventiveness is the most important qualification to enter this Challenge. What equipment cart can you make that can go over any terrain but doesn't use ordinary wheels? A tough call - but not impossible. If you're stuck, wander through what the comments are saying to get an idea of what exactly the client is looking for. We know that they're offering $3,500 in prizes!
