Hello GrabCAD Print users! Today we are excited to announce the new and improved Advanced PolyJet experience in GrabCAD Print. The new design and workflow changes we rolled out in the 1.39 release will improve your 3D printing workflow, save you time, and give you more insight into your Stratasys PolyJet 3D printers.

To recap, here are the changes:
Improved PolyJet Panel
We completely redesigned the PolyJet Model Settings Panel to offer an improved design and user workflow.
- Drop drop menu: We limited the number of tabs on the PolyJet UI module and replaced it with an easy-to-use drop menu. This differentiation between routine operations and less common tasks offers a more fluid workflow.
- Support Strength: What used to be called “Grid Style” is now Support Strength.
- New icons & notifications: Receive important and helpful notifications regarding software updates and printer status, such as when your waste container is full or your print is complete.
Color Picker
You now have the ability to create “favorites” in Color Picker. This saves you a lot of time searching through the drop down menu. But that’s not all -- when you select the color, you’ll be able to see the comparison between the color you selected and the color that will actually get 3D printed. This will save you time and money because you’ll get the color you want on the first print.
But that’s STILL not all -- users also have the option of using the CMYK input, and filling out the exact numbers of the colors they want.
Digital Materials
The Digital Materials panel also got a complete makeover. Now, it’s easier than ever to filter and select the digital material you want because as you start selecting the materials you want, materials that wouldn’t work with those options are removed.
This intuitive workflow will reduce the typical frustrations and hassle of thinking about which materials work with each other.
The Best 3D Printing Slicer Software
Advanced PolyJet in GrabCAD Print gives you the tools and features you need based on what you’re working on. Each month, with every new release, we’re constantly focusing on improving the user experience, so you can expect more great improvements to come!
