For more than 5 years GrabCAD Print has been simplifying 3D printing workflows with its intuitive scheduling, monitoring, preparing, and reporting of print jobs for FDM and PolyJet printers. GrabCAD Print has remained the market's top software for Stratasys 3D Printers. And now with the latest version, GrabCAD is taking the solution one step further by including support for the Stratasys H350™ 3D printer.
A New Way to Print
The Stratasys H350 leverages SAF™ technology. SAF technology produces high-volume parts with accuracy and repeatability. This gives you part consistency throughout your build and ensures reproducible part quality — even on fine feature details, flat areas and large parts.
With SAF being very different from FDM and PolyJet in terms of workflow and application, a specific version of GrabCAD Print has been created for the H350 to ensure maximum flexibility and productivity. We will go into detail about everything you need to know below.
High Volume Production Without Problems
One of the largest holdups with additive manufacturing is its lower volume throughput during production. In traditional manufacturing, when you want a large amount of parts produced, you would use injection molding to produce huge volumes of parts. This printer however can rival these volumes in a number of ways.
The H350 first allows for a process called nesting. Nesting is part of a build preparation stage that optimizes the use of an entire build volume of a 3D printer. This means that instead of only having parts limited to the bottom of a tray, parts can be stacked on top of each other in an ordered fashion which drastically increases the amount printed during a job.
Print for the H350 still allows for the same compatible file formats found on regular GrabCAD print, along with allowing for parts that are imported from assemblies such as SOLIDWORKS. Where this version of print differs is in its ability to automatically or manually nest parts for printing.
Due to the savings of implementing industrial-grade technology, The H350 powered by SAF technology delivers a competitive cost per part, production-level throughput, part quality and consistency, and a high production yield.
Today the GrabCAD Software team continues to strengthen Print to allow it to continue evolving and push the boundaries of additive manufacturing. To learn more about GrabCAD Print software, download our GrabCAD Print brochure or learn more about the Stratasys H350™ 3D printer.
