Busy week! Five on-going challenges. New profile layout. Lots of things going on in the background at GrabCAD. And of course, hundreds of models uploaded, thousands downloaded and more Engineers and Designers than ever before! There's a World right here, and a whole weekend to explore it.
Tutorials
Who doesn't love Escher? First employed as a draftsman, the Dutch artist fell into art and never looked back. Sudhir Gill posted a tutorial about how to make an Escher knot. If you've been following Aykut Dana's epic tutorial on how to make an engine, step by step in Solidworks, here's the latest tutorial.
Challenges
The LED Light Bottle Challenge is almost done, as is the Gearing Up Challenge. We've received a total of 80+ entries for both combined - 100 would amazing. The Gearing Up Challenge is the easiest to try - come up with an interesting idea for a bicycle product, draw it and submit a scanned copy! We want to test our new design collaboration software, so you and your team will take your winning design and create a CAD model and a functional prototype. Budget is on us. Pull out your pen and put it to paper - only 3 days left!

G'day Everyone
My name is Phil and I am a member of our local "men's shed" and we run community assist days every week (2 days a week) with special needs children, I am also associated with 2 schools in our area ..... well ..... the kids see the rotary furnace on the opening page of Autodesk Inventor 2013 whenever I show them Autodesk .... and they LOVE it .... it really makes their day .... does anyone know where I may get a detailed copy to show them and run them through how it was developed.
Any help would be much appreciated by the kids and me ..... THANKS
Phil
