GrabCAD's Rube experiment is becoming legendary. It all started five months ago with Scott Bruins uploading the first mechanism for the sequence. Recently, the experiment has taken up an enormous speed. Which means there is a badge to give out to all the participants.
How you can claim yours
Getting a Rube Goldberg badge for your profile is very straightforward. All you have to do is to join in and build a mechanism or two for the experiment. Read the comments under the project to see where everyone is at with their part and get creative about how the sequence could go on.
Scott has been a fantastic leader to advise everyone and create the ever awesome animations for the machines. Due to a very cool increase in popularity and many engineers joining in, just be patient with seeing the latest version of all built machines in one animation. So the easiest thing to do is pick up the last joined engineer and continue from his idea.
Once you have your machine kicking, pushing, pulling, sliding, jumping, exploding, flowing, burning or doing other crazy things, the model uploaded for everyone to see, you'll get the badge and forever lasting Rube Goldberg experiment fame :)
