Realism is obviously important, but not the only aspect of a winning submission. A great render is one that has a sense of humour, a unique take and aesthetic taste. Choice of background and appropriate animation will matter a lot. If you remember our former Community Manager Josh Mings, he will our juror as Marketing Manager for Luxion, the maker of Keyshot. Maybe some of you recall the Solidsmack Awesome Sauce Competition?
What are the prizes like? There are prizes for 'Best Render' and 'Best Animation' is a copy of Keyshot Pro with Animation, which features a whole bevy of cool features like:
- Unlimited realtime resolution
- Unlimited offline rendering resolution
- Render queue
- Region rendering
- Render in separate process
- Part and object animation
- Camera animation
- Multiple turntable animations
- Interactive setup, editing and playback in realtime raytraced environment
- Individual frame or compiled movie output (Quicktime, AVI, FLV)
