Sometimes one gets stuck in a pinch. Grasping for time to get something done - well that's why we have GrabCAD. To help Engineers and Designers help Engineers and Designers who are 'in a pinch'. Need a chair last minute to complete this render for of a living room for a client? GrabCAD. Need a chain and hook assembly suddenly to complete a crane for a student project? GrabCAD. How about a realistic and moveable human model to demonstrate a product better to a confused customer? GrabCAD. Tongue in cheek, I thought it'd be a good idea to run with the word 'pinch' as a great theme for this weeks MWL.
GrabCADr just uploaded this model only 24 hours earlier. Take a good look and help him render it better!
A classic robot hand made in Creo.
Economic Pinch Valve by Neil Louw
One of our favourite designs - a new type of pinch valve made with (almost) nothing but Plasma cut sheet metal. According to GrabCAD Engineer Neil Louw, significantly cheaper than other types of pinch valves.
Hamid was cool enough to label the entire design to describe how pinch rolls work. Function and effective.
