We’ll start our cool list with a super cool supercar concept model from Matt Perez. This hot looking car is the result of 20hrs of modeling and 16 revisions. It is available in iges format, check it out, render it, play with it, you can’t miss it!!!
Who doesn’t love cars? Here is another awesome concept car and this time it is 1:8 scale C7 Corvette (Solidworks/Step) from James Robbins. James created this engineering piece of art using Alias Autostudio and Solidworks. For 3D printing guys STL file is also there.
Well well, hold your breath! We are not done yet with concepts designs. Check this outstanding Dassault 600-JC concept engine from Dassault. This engine is suitable for light aircraft and it is available in both Solidworks and Step formats. CAD modeling at its finest!
Kubota engine model D1105 (STEP), another impressive model from Franky Devaere. You will be amazed at the level of detail you will be able to see in this model backed with all design specifications.
Next let’s move to the beach! Laszlo Doro has brought us a nice 60 feet cruiser yacht (Step). Laszlo use it to study the bulbous bow sailing yacht hull! another concept?! Excellent!
This Hi-Tech chair (solidworks/Step) was created by Brijen Parmar and it is his first model on GrabCAD. A very futuristic, creative design and when it comes to chairs, comfort and style is what matters the most. Ergonomics, biomechanics and more! Very professional work!
Special innovative design of a military robot by Aslan Khani. The title says it all. Also, very generous of Aslan to share his bronze winning and creative design with us. It is available in Solidworks 2010.
G-force-simulator (Pro/E, Step, ZW3D) is another great concept design for this week from Stef Varga. Anyone in the automobile industry who would like to test it?! Stef is one of the few members who utilize the existing models at the library to create inspiring designs. GrabCAD is full of concepts!
What about visiting a creepy medieval house in the middle of a stormy night?! You should see the animation that Albert Lackovic for his House medieval model (SketchUp).. Make sure to check Albert’s profile for other nice SketchUp models. Very impressive work indeed!
Our last but not the least model, comes from new user Joseph Larson. This Maker-bot robot made from simple shapes is just one of the cool entries in the Makerbot Robot Challenge (Join in!) This little guy is available in STL format. Fun and functional! Check it out!
